    Eligibility: Applicants must be Canadian citizens who are residents of Alberta and be attending a post-secondary school in Alberta full-time with a grade point average of at least 2.0. Students must play on a registered Hockey Alberta team or have played for at least a full season in the last year. Applicants must also have scholarship committee of the Friends of Alberta Junior Hockey Society recommendation. Selection is based on applicant's involvement with the community, achievements in hockey and strength of academics.

  • Columbus Youth Hockey/Bryan Ritz Memorial Hockey Fund

  • FMC Skaters Scholarship

    Sponsor: Facility Management Corporation (FMC) Ice Sports

    Eligibility: Applicants must be a New England resident, a senior in high school and skate at an FMC arena. Selection is based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities, community service and accomplishments and leadership on the ice.

  • Heisman High School Scholarship
    Up to $10,000

    Sponsor: Acceptance Insurance Company

    Eligibility: Applicants must participate or have participated in grades 9, 10 or 11 in at least one of the sports recognized by the International Olympic Committee in the Summer and Winter Olympic Games, the Paralympic Games or the National Federation of State High School Association. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, be a leader in school and their community and serve as a role model for underclassmen.

  • Rhodes Scholar
    Full tuition plus stipend

    Eligibility: Applicants must be U.S. citizens between the ages of 18 and 24 and have a bachelor's degree at the time of the award. The awards provide for two to three years of study at the University of Oxford including educational costs and other expenses.   • Thomas F. Walls Youth Hockey Scholarship
    February 20
    Sponsor: Vanderburgh Community Foundation

    Eligibility: Applicants must intend on enrolling at an accredited educational institution. A minimum GPA of 2.7 is required and students must rank in the top 20 percent of their graduating class. Selection is based on academic achievement, participation in hockey and/or other sports as well as demonstrated sportsmanship and leadership skills. Students must submit a letter of recommendation from a teacher and a letter of recommendation from a coach.
