Chief Master Sergeants of the Air Force Scholarships Varies
Sponsor: Air Force Sergeants Association
Eligibility: Applicants must be dependents of enlisted Air Force members, either on active duty or retired. They must meet the eligibility requirements and participate in the Airmen Memorial Foundation Scholarship Program. An unweighted GPA of 3.5 or higher is required. Extenuating circumstances are considered.
Eligibility: Applicants must be residents of Michigan who are planning to attend a Michigan college or university and who are the sons or daughters or grandchildren of veterans. Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and must have demonstrated financial need. Applicants must provide proof of a parent's military service record and an indication of their abilities to fulfill their goals and intentions. They should send scholarship information to their county district committee person.

Eligibility: Applicants must be children or spouses of retired, deceased or current active duty members of any branch of the military. They must hold a valid military ID card. Children of military members must be high school seniors.

Jack E. Barger, Sr. Memorial Nursing Scholarship Varies
Sponsor: Nursing Foundation of Pennsylvania
Eligibility: Candidates must be residents of Pennsylvania and must be enrolled in an undergraduate nursing program at an institution located in Pennsylvania. They must be active duty military, veterans, military spouses, veterans' spouses or the children of active duty military or veterans. Candidates are nominated for this award by the deans and department heads in the school of nursing at their institutions. Selection of award recipients will be determined by lottery.
How to apply: Candidates are not required to submit an application for this award. Instead, the dean or department head of the candidate's school must submit a formal nomination to the scholarship committee.
Eligibility: Applicants must be U.S. military veterans, current service members in the U.S. military or the children of a veteran or current service member. Students must be currently enrolled in, or have been accepted to, an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited university or college in the U.S. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. An essay on a provided prompt is required to be submitted.

Eligibility: Applicants be be residents of Texas and plan to attend an educational institution in Texas. Students must pursue their education in the field of medicine. Applicants must be the descendants of veterans who served during the Persian Gulf, Panama, Grenada, Vietnam, Korea, WWI or WWII wars. Awards will be based on need, goals, character, citizenship and objective. Applicants must submit a letter stating their objectives and three letters of recommendation, including one letter from a clergyman. Students must also provide a copy of DD214 and transcripts.
