Eligibility: Applicants may be players of all ages and ability levels--recent scholarship winners range in age from 12 to 65. Applicants should show a serious interest in the recorder and enjoy sharing their love of the instrument with others. They do NOT need to be a member of ARS.

CBC Spouses Performing Arts Scholarship Up to $3,000

Eligibility: Applicants must be African American students who have at least a 2.5 GPA, and they must be enrolled or accepted into a full-time undergraduate degree program. Applicants must show leadership qualities and community service participation.
Eligibility: Applicants must be students in any music discipline who have a high school GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, and with a minimum ACT of 20 or an equivalent SAT score. Students must show outstanding performance ability and have displayed exemplary citizenship.

Henry and Dorothy Diekman Worship Arts Scholarship Varies

Eligibility: Applicants must be full-time students and demonstrate good academic standing to qualify for this award. Students must intend to major or minor in Worship Arts to be considered for the scholarship.
Eligibility: Applicants must have declared music major and completed a minimum of 6.0 units in music or are currently enrolled in a minimum of 6.0 units. Students must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and demonstrate leadership potential and musical ability. Applicants must intend to secure an A.A. or A.A.T. in music with an emphasis in piano performance and/or piano pedagogy. Students must intend to transfer to a four-year institution.
Howard M. and Sondra D. Bender Scholarship for Dance/Movement Therapy Partial tuition

Eligibility: Applicants must be matriculated into the dance/movement therapy program. Students must show promise in his/her/their field and must demonstrate financial need as awards will be made for the following academic year after application and paid directly to the student’s account.
Eligibility: Applicants must be enrolled in instrumental music and have completed a minimum of 12 hours. Students must have participated in Wind Ensemble, Pep Band, Jazz Band and Concert Band. Applicants must maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA with 3.0 in instrumental music to receive this scholarship.
Eligibility: Applicants must be age 17 to 24 and write an original song to be reviewed by a prestigious panel of judges. Entries are to be submitted by music schools, universities, youth orchestras and the Music Educators National Conference (MENC).
