Eligibility: Applicants must provide documentation of 100 weeks or more of paid employment as a dance performer in the U.S. over at least seven years. For work not performed under union jurisdiction, applicants must also provide documentation of total gross earnings of at least $56,000. Choreographers and dance teachers are not eligible for this program.

Eligibility: Applicants must be full-time, traditional undergraduate freshmen or transfer students. Students must have demonstrated a high caliber of artistic ability through the artistic review process and the intended major must be dance, acting, musical theatre, theatre arts, theatre production, cinema arts, cinema production, animation or screenwriting. Applicants must maintain GPA 3.0 and full-time COPA status.
Eligibility: Applicants must be first-year students who plan to pursue studies in art and art history, creative writing, dance, film/media studies, literary studies, music (major or non-major) or theatre to receive the scholarship.
Eligibility: Applicants must choose a dance or drama major. Students must have a high school diploma or GED or 3.0 GPA for all college coursework. Applicants must go through an audition and interview with at least one member of the dance and drama department faculty. Students can receive this award on the basis of scholastic merit and artistic promise.
Catherine Jean MacDonald Memorial Scholarship $5,000

Eligibility: Applicants must submit a FAFSA proving financial need and demonstrate an dedication to obtain a degree in fine arts especially public TV or radio. Students must submit two letters of recommendation, a current transcript, a personal essay and an acceptable portrait photo as a JPEG or PNG along with their application.

Eligibility: Applicants must be first-year students majoring in fine art, graphic design, interaction design, interior architecture or photojournalism. Students involved in dance, music or theatre must be taking the course as their major or minor but preference is given to those intending to major.
Eligibility: Applicants must be incoming freshmen students majoring in vocal and instrumental music, theatre, technical theatre, musical theatre, dance, art and writing. Auditions are required for music, theatre and dance scholarship. Portfolios and writing samples must be submitted for art and writing scholarships.
Eligibility: Applicants must have participated (as a performer, crew member or production team member) in Ursinus College dance and be enrolled in at least one two- to four-credit dance course. Students must complete the form and submit a dance-related resume.
Eligibility: Applicants must be students who have already applied to Florida Southern College and intend to major/minor in dance studies or dance performance and choreography. Students must complete an audition registration form.
Eligibility: Applicants must be full-time dance major students who have completed at least 12 credit units at Fresno City College with four courses in dance, including participation in city dance performance class. Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.

Eligibility: Applicants must be pursuing a degree in music, visual communication and design, graphic design, advertising design, media arts, interactive media, illustration, digital video, filmmaking, photography, theater performance art, dance, music, technical theatre or recording arts and technology with a minimum 2.75 GPA.
Ginger Friedman English Composition Scholarship Endowment Varies

Eligibility: Applicants must be incoming freshmen and must have graduated from Garey High School in Pomona, CA. The scholarship is open to those majoring in: communication, economics, English and foreign languages, geography and anthropology, history, music, philosophy, political science, psychology and sociology and theater and new dance.
Howard M. and Sondra D. Bender Scholarship for Dance/Movement Therapy Partial tuition

Eligibility: Applicants must be matriculated into the dance/movement therapy program. Students must show promise in his/her/their field and must demonstrate financial need as awards will be made for the following academic year after application and paid directly to the student’s account.
Eligibility: Applicants must be applying to a traditional four-year university or performing arts specialty program with a focus on a career in dance. Students must have a minimum of three years in dance classes during high school and a background in community service/volunteerism during high school with a minimum of 100 hours of service. Applicants must have a minimum 3.5 GPA and submit an essay on a provided topic.

Eligibility: Applicants must be African American students at a UNCF member college or university majoring in communications, English or performing arts. Applicants must have a GPA of at least 3.0 and demonstrate financial need.
Eligibility: Applicants must be freshmen/transfer students who major in dance, musical theatre, music or theatre-acting. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA for renewal and must not be combined with the Presidential scholarship.
Eligibility: Applicants must be members of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD), but they may join when applying and must major in health, physical education, recreation or dance. Undergraduate applicants must have a minimum 3.5 GPA and have junior or senior status when applying. Graduate applicants must have a minimum 3.5 GPA and have completed one semester of full-time study. Selection is based on scholastic achievement, leadership, community service and character.
Eligibility: Applicants must be freshmen who audition and are selected by faculty artistic directors of the SJU Theatre Company. Students must have demonstrated skills in acting, singing, dance, and orchestra.
