    Eligibility: Applicants must be full-time college sophomores or juniors, U.S. citizens or resident aliens, have a minimum "B" GPA and be in the upper fourth of their class. Award must be used during the junior or senior year of college. Selection is based on potential and intent to pursue careers in mathematics, the natural sciences or engineering.

    How to apply: Institutions nominate college sophomores or juniors. Applicants may not apply directly to the foundation.

  • C. Bertrand and Marian Othmer Schultz Collegiate Scholarship

    Sponsor: Nebraska Academy of Sciences Inc.

    Eligibility: Applicants must be sophomores or juniors who attend a four-year, accredited college or university in Nebraska and major in a natural science including chemistry, physics, biology or geology. Students must plan to enter a career in a science-related industry, science teaching or scientific research.

  • John J. McKetta Scholarship

    Eligibility: Applicants must be chemical engineering incoming undergraduate juniors or seniors and be planning a career in the chemical engineering process industries. Applicants must also have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be attending an ABET accredited school in the U.S., Canada or Mexico. Selection is based on an essay outlining career goals, leadership in an AIChE student chapter or other university sponsored activity and letters of recommendation. Preference is given to members of AIChE.
