Eligibility: Applicants must be current undergraduate students who have demonstrated interest and/coursework in one or more of the following areas: women's/gender studies, literature and/or drama as literature, writing and/or publication (including journalism), and involvement in theater and/or women's organizations. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and must submit an essay of 500 to 1,000 words describing their interests in any of the above areas.

Eligibility: Applicants must be undergraduate students at Northwestern Connecticut Community College. Students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.7 and plan to transfer to a four-year college. Applicants must also exhibit an inquisitive imagination and a love of language and literature.
Eligibility: Applicants must be SOIS doctoral students who plan to conduct research about folklore, children's literature and storytelling (youth or adult). Students must use the Ellin Greene Storytelling Collection in the Butler Children's Literature Center to qualify for this award.
Fellowships for Regular Program in Greece $11,500 plus housing, board and fees

Eligibility: Applicants must have completed at least one to two years of graduate study and must take exams in ancient Greek language, history and either literature or art and archaeology. Students must be able to read French, German, ancient Greek and Latin with an ability to also read modern Greek and Italian considered helpful. Applicants must be graduate students who are preparing for an advanced degree in classical and ancient Mediterranean studies or a related field. The fellowships provide study in Athens or Greece for nine months and may not be used for costs at the student's home institution.
Eligibility: Applicants must be incoming freshmen with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and ACT score of 21 or SAT score of 976. Students must submit a 500-word essay describing their favorite book, blog, poem, play, essay, or film.
