Economic Opportunity Scholarship in Trade and Apprenticeship $5,000

Eligibility: Applicants must attend or plan to attend an accredited vocational or technical trade school OR 2- year college for a terminal degree in Pennsylvania and reside in Allegheny County, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Washington, Westmoreland or Fayette County. Students must pursue a degree or studies in traditional or modern trade and demonstrate financial need. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and be between the ages of 18 and 25.

Eligibility: Applicants must have a GPA of 2.7 or higher.

Eligibility: Applicants must hold a Technician Class or higher Amateur Radio License and either be Louisiana residents or attend school in Louisiana. They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Only students who are accepted to or enrolled in a four-year college or university are eligible.

Eligibility: Applicants must be current juniors or seniors at a four-year college or university, freshmen or sophomores in a two-year degree program, students in a U.S. Coast Guard-approved training program or graduate students in Maritime affairs or international trade. Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and provide transcripts, essays and a letter of recommendation.
Washington State Auto Dealers Association Bright Future Scholarship $2,500
Sponsor: Washington State Auto Dealers Association (WSADA) Scholarship Program
Eligibility: Applicants must be high school seniors enrolled in a Washington State public or private high school or be home-schooled and reside in Washington State. Students must plan to use their scholarship within the 12 months following the award by enrolling in any public or private school, vocational institution, community college or four-year college or university.
How to apply: Applications available online and must also include two letters of reference, a resume and an essay.
Sponsor: Women in International Trade Charitable Trust
Eligibility: Applicants must submit an essay on a relevant international trade topic (see suggestions below) and can either be a bespoke essay submission or an appropriately formatted existing academic paper from current class works. Students must show a demonstrated interest in international development, international relations, international trade, international economics or international business. Selection is based on the overall strength of the submission. Students must be enrolled at an accredited U.S. educational institution.
