  • Carl A. Ross Student Paper Award
    January 15
    Sponsor: Appalachian Studies Association

    Eligibility: Applicants must submit a 12- to 30-page research paper on an Appalachian studies topic. Selections will be made from two categories: middle/high school and undergraduate/graduate.

    Eligibility: Applicants must be currently enrolled college undergraduates with a minimum 3.0 GPA who show leadership potential and are involved in extra-curricular activities centered on multicultural or international issues.
