Eligibility: Applicants must be enrolled in or currently pursuing college coursework consistent with a degree in music string performance. Students must be be a member of a school or other organized string ensemble or orchestra.
Eligibility: Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and demonstrate financial need. Students must provide one letter of recommendation from a classical guitar instructor and an essay indicating musical background and future goals. Applicants must complete nine hours with a GPA of 3.0 while on scholarship.

Eligibility: Applicants must be U.S. legal residents who are of junior high school, high school or college age. They must submit a videotape of a solo performance in order to be considered for the live semifinals competition. Selection is based on the quality of performance during the semifinal and final rounds of live competition.

Llewellyn L. Cayvan String Instrument Scholarship Varies

Eligibility: Applicants must provide an academic transcript from most recent semester. High school seniors must include first semester senior year. In addition, students must include an essay with application.
Eligibility: Applicants must be FSU students with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who have demonstrated ability to perform classical music as demonstrated by playing the piano, other classical instruments or through vocal performance.
Eligibility: Applicants must be incoming students accepted for admission to Concordia who exhibit excellence in vocal or instrumental performance and/or composition. Students must submit a music scholarship application and perform a live finalist audition.
Eligibility: Applicants must have been admitted or submitted their completed application for admission to Hanover College and complete the scholarship application. Students must have demonstrated a passion for band, orchestra or choir and prepare an audition for entry into any ensemble in which students are interested.
Eligibility: Applicants must be incoming first-year students with outstanding music performance skills demonstrated by an audition or compositional skills evidenced by written scores. Students must make a music performance or submit their representative scores as required by their respective area.
Eligibility: Applicants must be incoming freshmen, transfer or adult students enrolled full-time who sing or play musical instruments. Students must participate in the Gannon University concert band or mixed chorus during the academic year.
