    Eligibility: Applicants must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons and residents of Alberta who will graduate from a Sexsmith Secondary School in the current academic year and will be enrolled full-time in a post-secondary program related to agriculture, engineering, fine arts or the trades. Students must show high academic standing during their senior year of high school and demonstrate high leadership qualities.     Eligibility: Applicants must be high school students or college freshmen or sophomores. Students must be pursing degree programs in teaching or art or must wish to own their own business. Applicants will need to submit a 500- to 600-word essay describing where they plan to or are currently attending school, their desired major, how the student developed an interest in teaching, art or owning their own business and how the scholarship would help them to reach their goals.
