American Legion Patriotic Scholarship Award Varies

Eligibility: Applicants must be dependents or descendants of American Legion members in good standing with a minimum GPA of 2.7, who are residents of Allegany or Garrett county and have graduated from a high school in either of these counties. Students must major in any of the following: accounting, biology, business administration, chemistry, computer science, economics, education, environmental analysis and planning, foreign languages, general science, geography, history, international studies, law and society (justice studies), mathematics, physics, political science or wildlife/fisheries.
Eligibility: Applicants must be students planning to study international relations, or current international students residing in any of the 32 Appalachian counties. Students must be enrolled in a full-time four-year program and may apply to multiple scholarships through the same application.

Eligibility: Applicants must have documented financial need, must be entering their junior year of college in good standing as a full-time student (completion of a 2-year degree or with the equivalent of 2 years of qualifying college credits), must be majoring in education, environmental studies, health professions and related programs, marine biology/oceanography, natural resources, forestry, conservation, nursing, parks, recreation, leisure, fitness studies, public administration and social service professions, world affairs, international issues, must be a resident of Monterey County (including undocumented residents) with preference given to students transferring to/attending CSU Monterey Bay or another 4-year college/university in California from Hartnell College or Monterey Peninsula College.
