  • Kate Woods Memorial Scholarship of Conservation Biology

    Eligibility: Applicants must be studying Conservation Biology, Ecology or Environmental Studies with a minimum GPA of 2.0 and enrolled in at least 6 units. Students must be new, continuing Gavilan students or transferring students (to a 4-year university) in the upcoming fall term. Preference will be given to students with volunteerism in conservation biology.

  • Land-Grant Scholarship Program
    Sponsor: University of Maryland Eastern Shore

    Eligibility: Applicants must be accepted into one of the following majors: general agriculture, agribusiness management, environmental science or human ecology and have a high school diploma or general educational development (GED) certificate with a high school grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.8 unweighted (on a 4.0 scale). Students must intend to pursue a career in the food and agricultural sciences.

  • Mabel Mayforth Scholarship

    Eligibility: Applicants must be Vermont residents who are college juniors, seniors or graduate students and must major horticulture, landscape, design, conservation, forestry, agronomy, plant pathology or biology with a special interest in plants, ecology and allied subjects. They must be full-time students at an accredited institution with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Previous winners may reapply.
