    Eligibility: Applicants must have a grade point average of at least 3.6; be attending or planning to attend a public or nonprofit college or university; and be majoring in English, journalism, physical education, music or math. Students must complete the FAFSA. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application and financial need, with preference given to students attending colleges in Oregon and nontraditional students or those returning after a considerable break.

  • CANFIT Scholarships
    March 31
    Sponsor: CANFIT

    Eligibility: Applicants must be African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian American, Pacific Islander or Latino/Hispanic students enrolled in a California university or culinary arts school. Undergraduate students must be in a nutrition, physical education or culinary arts program. Graduate students must be enrolled in a nutrition, public nutrition, physical education or American Dietetic Association Approved Pre-professional Practice program. Minimum GPA requirement for graduate students is 3.0 and for undergraduates is 2.5.

  • Michael Moody Fitness Scholarship
    August 1
    Sponsor: Michael Moody Fitness

    Eligibility: Applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal residents and be a current high school senior, undergraduate or graduate level student planning on enrolling in an accredited college or university full-time in the upcoming school year. Students should be able to demonstrate that they have outstanding achievement in school, as well as participation and leadership in school activities and work experience. Applicants should be pursuing a degree in one of the following: athletic training, personal training, physical education teaching and coaching, health and physical fitness, exercise science, sports and recreation management, health sciences or another related field.

    How to apply: Applications are available online and must include details of outstanding achievement in school, list of school and community activities, work experience and current high school or university cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale. Only electronic applications will be considered. Only the first 1,000 applications will be considered.
