    Eligibility: Applicants must be full-time college sophomores or juniors, U.S. citizens or resident aliens, have a minimum "B" GPA and be in the upper fourth of their class. Award must be used during the junior or senior year of college. Selection is based on potential and intent to pursue careers in mathematics, the natural sciences or engineering.

    How to apply: Institutions nominate college sophomores or juniors. Applicants may not apply directly to the foundation.

  • Carroll C. Hall Memorial Scholarship

    Eligibility: Applicants must be enrolled in or planning to enroll in an approved research-based program for a Ph.D. or Sc.D. degree in biological and biomedical sciences.   • NIH Undergraduate Scholarship Program

    Eligibility: Applicants must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment as full-time students at an accredited undergraduate institution, have an underprivileged background and have a minimum 3.3 GPA or be within the top 5 percent of their class. Applicants must also show a commitment to pursuing careers in biomedical, behavioral and social science research at the NIH.
