Eligibility: Applicant must be pursuing an advanced degree in wildlife, zoology, botany, ecology or other biological sciences that are related to wetlands ecology. Selection is based on dedication to wetland preservation, high academic achievement and the merit of the project submitted.
How to apply: Applicants must send a one-page proposal summary of original research or a management project, a resume, a statement of interest, a letter of support from a faculty member and a list of at least two references to the California Waterfowl Association. There is no formal application form.
Eligibility: Applicants must be a female college junior or senior, have a 3.0 or higher GPA and be majoring in wildlife management/conservation. Selection is based on extracurricular activities, community service, work experience, a required essay and the letter of reference.
How to apply: Applications are submitted online and include a 200-300 word essay and at least one letter of recommendation.
