Eligibility: Students must be college juniors or seniors at Syracuse University or the University of Maryland-University College. Applicants must be pursuing a degree in information technology (IT) or a related subject, must be enrolled full-time (12+ credits) and must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or more. Selection is based on academic merit, an academic letter of recommendation and financial need.

Students must be passionate about creating applications, coding or data and dedicated to continuing their education in data science and technology. An essay submission on a provided prompt is required.
