  • Heather Bird Memorial Scholarship
    January 22
    Sponsor: Knox County Community Foundation

    Eligibility: Applicants must have a C average or better throughout high school. Students must attend a 2 or 4 year college. Applicants must be active leaders in her or her community.

  • IAFC Foundation Scholarship
    April 26
    Sponsor: International Association of Fire Chiefs Foundation

    Eligibility: Applicants must be active members with a minimum of three years volunteer work, two years paid work or a combination of paid and volunteer work of three years with a state, county, provincial, municipal, community, industrial or federal fire department who will use the scholarship at an accredited institution of higher education. Students must submit application forms, statements, a list of credits and a transcript. Preference is given to those demonstrating need, desire and initiative.

  • Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program
    December 6
    Sponsor: Comcast NBCUniversal

    Eligibility: Students must be high school seniors with a minimum 3.0 GPA, be nominated by their high school principal or guidance counselor and attend school in a Comcast community. See the website for a list of eligible communities by state. Comcast employees, their families or other Comcast affiliates are not eligible to apply.
