    Eligibility: Applicants must be enrolled in a California community college or university and be studying one of the following programs: medical imaging, occupational therapy, physical therapy, respiratory care, social work, pharmacy and diagnostic medical sonography, pharmacy technician, medical laboratory technologist, surgical technician or ultrasound technician. Those selected will complete a one-year service contract or work volunteer hours in a medically underserved area of California. Financial need, work experience, academic achievement and community involvement are considered. Preference is given to those who expect to graduate within two years of application.

  • Health Careers Scholarship

    Sponsor: International Order of the King's Daughters and Sons

    Eligibility: Applicants must be full-time students pursuing a career in medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, physical or occupational therapy or medical technologies. R.N. students and those pursuing an M.D. or D.D.S must have completed at least one year of schooling at an accredited institution. All others must be entering at least their third year of school. Pre-med students are not eligible. Applicants must be U.S. or Canadian citizens.

  • Kaiser Permanente Health Equity Scholarship

    Eligibility: Applicants must be current high school graduates who plan to enroll full-time as first-year college students at a U.S.-located, four-year accredited, not-for-profit college or university or two-year accredited, not-for-profit community college. Students must reside in one of the following areas: California, Colorado, Washington D.C., Georgia, Maryland, Oregon, Virginia or Washington. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and be interested in pursuing a clinical or non-clinical career path in the healthcare industry. Students must complete the FAFSA and demonstrate unmet financial need.
