Professional Education

Register Today!

Two sessions in one! The first half of the seminar will compare donor advised funds and private foundations, analyzing tax benefits, donor control, administrative simplicity, and privacy considerations. It covers when to establish one or the other, the steps involved, and how retirement assets can be used with both. The second half will provide an overview of common trust and estate litigation cases, the phases of a lawsuit, and a beneficiary's rights to an accounting for a trust and estate. You will also receive guidance on how to respond to objections and what steps to take if you've been named a beneficiary of an IRA or other tax-qualified plan.
