Getting Started

It is important for students to create their own FSA ID. In addition to the student, contributors may include a spouse and biological or adoptive parents. Each contributor must create an account (FSA ID) tied to a separate email address.

The MPCC school code is 002557. After you submit your FAFSA you will receive an email from the Department of Education with a link to your FAFSA Submission Summary, which will list the information you provided on the FAFSA and provide some eligibility information.

Login to mpcc.awardspring.com with your MPCC school account. You must apply for admission to MPCC before completing the scholarship application. MPCC awards over $1.2 million in scholarships each year. Apply by March 1 so you don’t miss out!

Important Reminders

  • FAFSA School Code: 002557
    • Beginning with the 2024-2025 FAFSA, all contributors must provide consent and approval to have the IRS transfer your federal tax information into the FAFSA form. If you or your contributors do not provide consent and approval, you will not be eligible for federal student aid.

Next steps:

We will notify you by email if we need additional information to complete your financial aid offer. About 30% of students are selected for a process called verification which requires us to collect some extra documents from you. We will help you through the process if you are selected.

  • Review your Financial Aid Offer email and then Accept or Decline your awards on the Financial Aid Portal
  • Let us know about outside aid. Are you receiving a scholarship from an outside source or is your employer paying a portion of your expenses? Let us know so that we can take this information into consideration as it may change the financial aid you are eligible for.
