Types of Aid

Financial Aid that Works for You

Finding the right type of Financial Aid sounds confusing. But, at NOVA, it doesn't have to be.

We have a wide range of financial aid options available: scholarships, grants, loans and work-study opportunities that help alleviate the stress of college tuition. It’s enough to worry about your studies, without the additional burden of worrying how you’re going to afford tuition.

[Note: For most financial aid options, you will need to complete a FAFSA to confirm your eligibility.]

Loans

Loans are money that you or your parents borrow and repay with interest. Education loans can be offered at lower interest rates with various repayment terms. Some loans require a demonstration of need; others do not.
