Financing Your Future

A college education is life-changing. It's also a big investment. Lewis and Clark Community College is dedicated to offering high-quality educational experiences at an affordable cost – especially when compared with most technical colleges and universities.

District residents who attend L&C full-time spend about $4,650 per year on tuition and fees before any financial aid. That's over $9,000 less than most universities and, for transfer students, a savings of more than $19,370 (on average) toward a four-year bachelor's degree.

Financial Aid

From scholarships and grants to work study and student loans, we can help. Financial Aid packages are determined by the FAFSA. You must accept your awards prior to the semester tuition due date (see the Bursar's page) in order to avoid being dropped from classes. Two weeks before the semester starts, tuition and fees will be deducted from your account and any leftover funds can be used for books and supplies. Call/text (618) 468-2223 for more information or visit our webpage to learn more

Self-Pay

Self-pay students taking credit courses must make their payments in full to the Bursar's Office by the semester tuition due date (see the Bursar's page) to avoid being dropped from classes. For non-credit students, payment in full is required at the time of registration.

You may review and print your billing history and current account balance online at any time. Log in to  Student Self-Service  and select “Student Finance” from the menu, then "Account Summary,” then “Account Activity.” Select the desired term from the drop-down menu and click “View Statement.”

Installment Plans

L&C offers an Installment Plan option for qualifying credit students during the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. Visit the Bursar's Office to find out how.
