Tim Sloan Teammate Scholarship Award

Volunteers (teammates) play such an important role at Every Body Athletics. Whether it’s modeling proper exercise techniques, working with athletes on their social skills, or building authentically inclusive friendships, EBA teammates provide our athletes with a fun and positive environment that benefits everyone. EBA wouldn’t be the same without them!

EBA wishes to acknowledge the incredible impact that all teammates have on the organization by awarding two high school seniors with the Tim Sloan Teammate Scholarship Award. Each scholarship will be worth $1,000, to be put towards higher education expenses. This annual award will be another way to celebrate the dedication to inclusivity and acceptance that all EBA teammates share.

Any EBA teammate who will be a senior in high school during the 2022-23 school year is welcome and encouraged to apply. The application window opens on November 1st, closes on April 1st, and winners will be announced on April 15th. With these characteristics in mind, it should come as no surprise that this scholarship award is named after Tim Sloan, an EBA athlete who exemplified all three traits to perfection. Tim was one of the very first athletes to walk through the doors at EBA, and the legacy of unconditional love and kindness that he leaves behind will always and forever be a part of the EBA Family. Tim’s gentle heart touched a lot of people while he was with us, and this award serves as a small way to honor someone who had such a big impact. We love you, Tim Sloan!
