My Action Plan for College Young Scholars Initiative
Purpose: To support 8th graders who plan to attend college.
Eligibility: Students must be current eighth graders with a goal to attend college one day. Applicants must submit a 250-300 word hand-written essay including the topics of academic and extra-curricular plans for college. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.
Deadline: August 1
Award Amount: $125-$750.
Number of Awards: 6.
Renewable: No.
How to apply: Essays should be submitted by mail.
