Purpose: | Established in 1953 and financed by the British government, the scholarships are designed to bring academically distinguished Americans to study in the United Kingdom to increase understanding and appreciation of the British society and academic values. |
Eligibility: | Applicants must be U.S. citizens who expect to earn a degree from an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S. with a minimum 3.7 GPA. Students may apply in one of eight regions in the U.S. |
