George Montgomery/NRA Youth Wildlife Art Contest
Purpose: To support young artists and encourage awareness of local game birds and animals.
Eligibility: Applicants must be in grades 1 through 12 and submit an original artwork depicting any North American game bird or animal that may be legally hunted or trapped. NRA membership is not required. Art is divided into categories based on grade level and is judged on effort, creativity, anatomical accuracy and composition.
Deadline: November 3
Award Amount: Up to $1,000.
Number of Awards: Varies.
Renewable: No.
How to apply: Application information is available online. A statement of authenticity signed by a parent, guardian or teacher must be submitted along with the artwork.
