Americanism Essay Contest
Purpose: To recognize outstanding student essayists.
Eligibility: Applicants must be in grades 7 through 12 and must be sponsored by a Fleet Reserve Association (FRA) branch or Ladies Auxiliary unit. They must submit an essay on a sponsor-determined topic. Selection is based on the overall strength of the essay.
Deadline: December 1
Award Amount: $2,500-$5,000.
Number of Awards: Varies.
Renewable: No.
