| Alpha Kappa Alpha Financial Need Scholars | |

| Purpose: | To assist undergraduate and graduate students who have overcome hardship to achieve educational goals. |
| Eligibility: | Applicants must be studying full-time at the sophomore level or higher at an accredited institution and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Students must also demonstrate leadership, volunteer, civic or academic service. The program is open to students without regard to sex, race, creed, color, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or disability. Students do NOT need to be members of Alpha Kappa Alpha. Deadline is April 15 for undergraduate students and August 15 for graduate students. |
