Dolly Parton's Imagination Library Available In Phelps County

The Phelps County Community Foundation  Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is available in Phelps County. All children residing in Phelps County from birth to age five can participate in the program, mailing a free, age-appropriate book each month directly to the child.

To participate, parents or guardians must register their child(ren) with PCCF. Once registered, the child can expect to receive their first book in the mail in about 6-9 weeks. If multiple children are registered at one address, the children may receive their books on different days due to how the book mailing process is completed.

PCCF is currently working with schools, daycare facilities, the Holdrege Public Library, and other community partners and businesses to get registration forms to parents. Forms may also be picked up at the PCCF office at 424 Garfield St. in Holdrege, NE, or by visiting www.phelpsfoundation.org.

People interested in learning more about registering their child(ren) in the Imagination Library can contact Cindy McCormick, Executive Assistant, at cmccormick@phelpsfoundation.org or by calling the PCCF office at 308-995-6847.
