Child Safety Scholarship

The attorneys at Hart & Hart handle cases involving a multitude of different types of accidents. When a child is injured, these cases are some of the most tragic due to the fact that often times the injury could have been prevented. This is why Steven Hart and his team are dedicated to helping children and families dealing with the aftermath of an incident. Our hope is that this scholarship will help stimulate the discussion on preventative measures that can be utilized to minimize the amount of children injured due to the senselessness and negligence of others.

To apply for the Child Safety Scholarship, please research a specific type of child injuries or accident and explain how we can better address the situation in order to avoid it in the future. Additionally, applicants should discuss how technology and other outside factors have an impact on these injuries. For example, how a smartphone can affect a child’s spatial awareness and how this impairment can lead to an injury.

For additional examples, some of the main types of child injuries include:

  • Car Accidents
  • Burns
  • Poisoning
