Yoshiyama Award

Purpose:

 

To recognize exemplary service and community involvement.

Eligibility:

 

Applicants must be graduating high school seniors in the U.S. and U.S. territories, demonstrate outstanding community service and have shown leadership, self-motivation, creativity, dedication and commitment to the community. Applicants' service should impact a socially, economically or culturally isolated area. Applicants must also be nominated by someone familiar with their service; family members may not nominate their relatives, and students may not nominate themselves.
